P-2111 WWII War Eagles Sterling 13 Arrows WWII War Eagles with 13 arrows in sterling silver 1 1/2 inches wide This is museum quality reproduction in sterling silver of very rare WWII Colonel Insignia made with 13 war arrows. These are called War Eagles because the head of the eagle is facing the arrows. In official Colonel Insignia the head of the eagle faces the olive branch. You are bidding on a set of two with a 1 1/2 inch wingspan. What are rare about these are the distinctive arrows. Here is a chance to own a set of these until you find some originals ones or if you are a re-enactor here is a chance to have the best. It should be noted that War Eagles were no longer authorized after 1926, yet many Colonels continued to wear them.
